Happy PANDEMONIUM Day!!

Interesting fact: when you google "Pandemonium" images, almost all of the results are pictures of video games and/or strippers. Instead, I have settled for a picture of my book.

Other interesting fact: MY BOOK PANDEMONIUM COMES OUT TODAY!!!

Pandemonium, definition:
1. Wild uproar or unrestrained disorder; tumult or chaos
2. A place or scene of riotous uproar or utter chaos

Conclusion?

Time for havoc in the bookstore, people! Lie, cheat, but definitely do NOT steal your way to a copy of Pandemonium! I can't wait to hear what you think!!

Dear Mrs Oliver,

Just finished a book and left a review for the German amazon page. Your book was amazing! It is just as good as Delirium, and that book was one of my personal all-time favorites I've read last year. I was entertained, emotionally invested and constantly on the edge until the very last page. I have no idea how you expect me to wait one more year, but in case you need another proof-reader, contact me please :D (hey, its is worth a try!).

Thank you so much for writing and publishing those books. It is always such a great experience to be so captivated while reading a story from a fictional character and everything feels real.

Cannot wait for next year.

Sincerely, Malin

Congrats! :D

I can't wait to get my hands on a copy! I have been waiting for it forever (ok, a year but it seems like forever :-p).

New interesting fact: I looked at Google Images for Pandemonium and didn't see any strippers but lots about a video game. Oh, and your book cover comes up on page 6. :-o

How will you ever resolve thier story??? Best of luck with that one! Thanks for all of the effort and "LOVE" you put into this intriguing tale!

Lauren you have such a talent for writing, seriously. I will forever read all of your books. I finished pandemonium in two days and my mouth dropped for about an hour after I finished. How could you do that?! Lol I'm in great need of the next novel. You have changed my life for the better, keep on rockin!

Your books are fantastic, I can never stop reading them! Delirium is an amazing utopian world classic and Pandemonium BLEW. MY. MIND. Oh my god I CANNOT wait for Requiem!! Good luck with your writing!:D

Pandemonium is the best, and I love it so much! I really hope that the third book is a happy ending! Its my favorite book of the year! But I love all your books!

I can't believe it! Pandemonium left me speechless! I can't wait for the next book! Everyone NEEDS to read it! You will be left with an "Oh no she didn't!" face because Lauren really throws a cuve ball... OMG, I'm still shocked!

Dear Miss Oliver,

I have a favour to ask (not a big one). Would you be so kind as to release Requiem next week instead of next year? I loved Pandemonium so much but don`t know if I can stand the suspense for a whole year. Please consider (I know it is a long shot since the book is probably not written but its worth a try :))

cvelazquez said...

I totally agree with Honey_pie there..... how the heck are we supposed to wait a year?! Seriously!!! I usually jump from 1 read to the next and I can't even fathom starting another book right now. I have to get over the shock and emotion of this one. Yikes!!

Wow, and I thought the ending of Delirium was rough. Pandemonium's was worse! Don't get me wrong...LOVE LOVE LOVE this book, but geesh!
Amazing!

Recommending these books to anyone that will listen.

I just picked up my copy yesterday! Can't wait to start it!

My reaction after finishing Pandemonium, just now: OH MY GODDDDD. Oh. My. God, Alex. And now I'm so torn up and hurting for Lena because there's some serious emotional drama coming, on top of all the rollercoaster events that already make up her life.
Ms. Oliver, whatever you are doing and however you are doing it, please keep at it. Please keep writing such amazing stories. Delirium was gorgeous and heart-breaking beyond words, Pandemonium is a whirl-wind of struggle and change, and I just can't wait for the final book. Your writing evokes a sense of recognition so strong it almost brings me to tears sometimes, and your beautifully executed endings are the emotional equivalent of getting socked in the stomach, in a good way. Basically, I love this universe you've created. Thank you, and please keep doing what you do.

I received Pandemonium in the mail on Friday and finished it this weekend - COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! It is excellent! I don't know if I can wait a full year for Requim!
My daughter, Delaney (16) turned me onto your books last Fall. She had cancer and couldn't quite muster the strength but wanted your books and for me to start on them for her. She would have loved reading about the Wilds and risking it all for Love.

OMG! Loved Pandemonium. Can't believe i have to wait a whole year for Requim! I'm dying to know if Alex said "Don't believe her." because 1) he was pissed she didnt come back for him and she's with another man or 2)because he thinks she'll break her promise and come running back to him!

I hunted high and low in every bookstore and supermarket in our town for this book since the release date and I finally got my hands on it today. In Asda of all places on an end bay. Not enough respect I tell you. Cannot wait to get my head stuck into it now!

OK, so here's what happened. At the end of Delirium, I cried. A lot. At the beginning, middle, and end of Pandemonium, I also cried. A lot. And now I'm practically having a heart attack because I really want to know what happens in this love triangle, because I will always love Alex more than Julian just because he was her first love. I can't believe the amazing twist at the end, and I don't think I can wait until NEXT YEAR to read the final book! OH. MY. GOODNESS!!!!!!
Juliet
P.S. I just reviewed Delirium and Pandemonium on my blog!

Wow oh Wow! I just found both Delirium and Pandemonium and couldn't put them down! Finished in just a couple of days and now I am writhing in agony at having to wait a whole year for Requiem!! Oh man, agony for Alex!! =) You have great talent, thank you!! =)

Kokoro said...

I knew from the beginning that Alex has survived and would show up in the end, because that is what always happens. It was a amazing book, but the end kinda ruined everything for me. Why does everybody in the YA section has to write about a love triangle? Why? It annoyes me a whole lot...

Mahar9m@gmail.com said...

Jesus, I just finished this book. I was expecting the end, but god I really fell in love with Julian. SO lost, so torn. Plus Alex was all meh at the end. WHAT WAS THAT!? What happened to the loving, sweet, boy we met in Delirium? I don't think I am going to be able to wait another year for the next book in this series. What am I going to do? I'm going to die that's what. Overall it was fantastic, but I am seriously going to die. I mean same thing with the Mortal Instruments series. How am I going to survive! I'm mildly going a little fangirl right now, but I can't help it. Thank you for writing this series.
With love,
Meg the waiting hater.
P.S. please write with haste. God now I sound like a pushy fangirl. Alas, tis how I feel.
