While planes full of college coeds flock down to Florida in anticipation of weekends filled with Tequila body shots and club-hopping (not that I ever did either in college...very much), I am on my way to Fort Myers for the Southwest Florida Reading Festival! And I'm sorry, but no quantity of Daquiris can compete with a line-up of awesome authors and avid readers.
If you're in the 'hood, stop by the Teen Stage at Centennial Park tomorrow, Saturday 3/17, and see moi! I'll be talking books, dystopia, and also the process of writing a series, and afterwards I'll be signing copies of my books. And NO GLITTER EYESHADOW IS EVEN NECESSARY! So come on down and I hope to see you there.

Funny you should mention spring break and tequila. I'm studying abroad in Mexico this summer, and our professor has already warned us about the stereotypical image most Mexicans have of American college students: sex-crazed, tequila-chugging kids on spring break. :P
I wish I could be there, but unfortunately FL and KY are too far away. I wasn't able to make it to any of your other Pandemonium tour locations, but I did order copies of Before I Fall, Delirium and Pandemonium from your Books and Books stop and I received them in the mail yesterday! I already owned them on my Nook, but I'm so happy to have signed, hardcover copies to add to my bookshelf! They are absolutely beautiful! I've never been so happy with receiving a book before :) and your handwriting is so pretty! I'm re-reading Delirium right now and then I'll be starting on Pandemonium. Enjoy your time in Ft. Myers!

My spring breaks were totally weird. Since I went to college in Florida, I didn't really care to go to Daytona or Cocoa or Miami. Instead, I went to Chicago one year, NY another. I guess i'm backwards. ;) Wish I could go to the event!
