Better Late Than Never?

I know I'm a teensy bit late to the blogosophere party on this one, but hey...I've had some important things (er, blue-eyed boys) on my mind.

Actually, I had NO idea that I was allowed to even reveal the new cover of PANDEMONIUM, which will be a continuation the artistic direction of the special edition of Delirium (set to release in August, so mark your calendars, people!!) until I saw it pop up on various blogs yesterday. I guess this means my book has moved from babyhood to big-girl adolescence...she's sneaking around behind my back and I don't even know it!

Ain't she a beauty? I have to say, I loved the initial Delirium cover but I heart the direction of these covers SO MUCH MORE. They're just so fierce and expressive, and they're going to look so darn good sitting next to each other on the shelves.

Holla and let me know what you think!

It's beautiful. But I think it will be a disappointment for fans who bought Delirium when it first came out. I know I like to keep my series in the same format, with the same covers, and I think there's a lot of book lovers out there who are the same. A lot of people feel cheated when books shift covers midway through a series. Like when the Vampire Academy's last book was available in red only.

But! I'll be buying the special edition cover and the rest of the covers to match!

I love all the colours and how I think of autumn (my favourite season) when I look at it.

Blue-eyed boys are always a good thing to have on your mind. Congratulations again :-D

I loved the first cover too, and I understand those who are upset about this new one not matching the one they've bought.

But, I LURRRVE this one so much more!!! I agree, they are more expressive.

Okay, I like this cover, and the Delirium cover in this style, but I LOVE the first Delirium release! There are a lot of YA books with close up shots of girls faces so this might just blend in... whereas the other one, you have to look twice at it, because you don't realize at first that there is a face behind the letters, it's so creative, and the bright color really jumps out at you! :D But I DO like this one, too.

I saw the cover on Goodreads and I instantly thought "epic". It looks wonderful and it makes me think of warm, fire, leaves, and autumn.

I thought it would look like Delirium one. I am a bit desappointed, but will read it anyway :P

I love the new cover! It's too bad I have the old cover and they won't match. Oh well ;) I can live with that.
